Ask your database
a question.
EasyDB is a fast, clean SQLite viewer for macOS with a local AI model built in. Ask in plain English, then see the results live.
macOS 14 or later · Apple Silicon · $9.99 one-time purchase
Ask about your database in plain English.
Everything runs locally on your Mac. Your question becomes SQL you can read, edit, or undo before it touches your data.
SELECT c.name, SUM(o.total) AS spent
FROM customers c
JOIN orders o ON o.customer_id = c.id
WHERE o.created_at >= date('now', 'start of month', '-1 month')
AND o.created_at < date('now', 'start of month')
GROUP BY c.id
ORDER BY spent DESC
LIMIT 10;
Schema Read
Your schema goes to the model along with your question. Pick a table in the sidebar first and EasyDB weights that one highest.
SQL Generated
Syntax highlighted and editable, in the same editor you'd type in.
Statement Validated
EasyDB prepares each statement against your database before running anything. If SQLite rejects it, you still see the query and the reason.
EasyDB asks before changing anything.
Read only queries run automatically. Queries that would add, edit, or delete data ask for permission.
Read or write?
Rather than guessing from the text of your query, EasyDB asks SQLite directly whether a statement writes. Reads then run on a connection that can't modify anything.
Ask runs on your Mac.
Download the model one time, then ask as many questions as you like. Powered offline by your own hardware.
- Your schema and data never leave the machine. Questions, table names, column names, and results are all handled locally.
- No account, no API key. There's nothing to sign up for and nothing to paste in.
- No tokens, quotas, or monthly bills. Ask as many questions as you like.
- Offline and local. The model downloads the first time you ask a question. After that EasyDB needs no network at all.
- Sandboxed, with minimal permissions. File access only for databases you pick yourself.
Errors in plain English.
SQLite's messages are terse. EasyDB says what went wrong and what to try, and keeps the original text one click away.

Built for the Mac
Before you buy
- Apple Silicon Mac is required. EasyDB uses MLX, which is Apple Silicon only. Intel Macs are not supported.
- macOS 14 Sonoma or later.
- The model is a ~1.74 GB download. It's fetched the first time you ask a question, not at install, and you can remove it later from Settings.
- AI is optional. Skip the download and you'll still have a nice SQL viewer.
